Papers of Boston, Mass. lawyer Hermann Jackson Warner, 1835-1913, include correspondence, letterbooks, 1835-1900, journals and European travel diaries, 1844-1904 (with gaps), and school notebooks kept at Boston Latin school and Harvard. Correspondents include Warner's wife Mary Poyntell Staley Warner, sister Jane S. Warner, half-brother Joshua Hall Bates, half-sister Lucy Cobbs Bates Williams, Countess Lida M. Schonmaker Krakow, Edward Chipman Guild, John A. Higginson; Alexander von Pfaffine, Andrew C. Wheelwright, and Edward Wheelwright. Also includes undated letterbooks of Warner's father William Augustus Warner; diaries kept by sister Mary Brimmer Warner, 1839- ca. 1850, and some printed items.
